Somewhat Pieced Together

Everyone, I am back to being myself (somewhat). Yesterday I watched Fast Five with a group of friends, and the movie is Fantastic! If you are even a passing fan of ANY of the Fast & Furious movies, this is a must see. It combines people and events from every movie, bringing them together in one big moment. I can't do justice to this film, so just trust me, go see it.

Today I want to talk to you about another movie releasing this summer (7.1.11)

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon

Here are the teaser trailers:

It will be interesting to see how the story develops, and of course, how well the movie does without Ms. Megan Fox

Apparently months ago it was decided by her that the studio was not offering her enough money to do another Transformers Movie.

In the new movie, Shia Labeouf is seen with this new girl:

Beautiful Day!

Today has been a truly beautiful day everyone. The sun is shining, a small cool breeze, and I didn't have to go to work!

I have recently been informed by a comrade that a local snow cone location has opened up.

The key to its success is exotic flavors, such as Dinosaur, and TIGERS BLOOD!

As I'm writing this, preparations are being made to journey to this location and have a taste. Perhaps Tigers Blood will give me strength, maybe I will only receive a satisfying chilled beverage, in any case, it's a WIN!

At a College Graduation

Sorry everyone, today has been a busy day.

Whenever I think of a graduation, I think of a proud moment in the lives of individuals who have worked hard to gain their degree. I think of all the friends I have made and am proud to watch take the next step with their lives. I am capable of a human thought while surrounded by hundreds of people.

Today was the graduation at my college, effectively making me a second year student. It was a proud moment.

Except...

Why is it that at every graduation, people feel the need to lose their minds? They act like mindless zombies incapable of the basic human decencies we try to observe each day.

You want a picture?

Go to the front! Don't stand in front of me.

You want your kids to shut up?

Why did you bring kids to something they don't understand and don't want to be at? Leave them at home with some pizza rolls and a few movies. Best, call a babysitter.

College graduation is a proud moment, I just wish there was a way to avoid all the unneeded redundancy of it all. Good day, now hoping I don't get called in to work tomorrow.

Self-Reflection

Human self-reflection is the capacity of humans to exercise introspection and the willingness to learn more about their fundamental nature, purpose and essence. The earliest historical records demonstrate the great interest which humanity has had in itself. Human self-reflection invariably leads to inquiry into the human condition and the essence of humankind as a whole.

Human self-reflection is related to the philosophy of consciousness, the topic of awareness, consciousness in general and the philosophy of mind. Humans consider themselves to be the dominant species on Earth and the most advanced in intelligence and ability to manage their environment.

Prehistoric notions about the status of humanity may be guessed by the etymology of ancient words for man. Latin homo (PIE *kþonyon) means "of the earth, earthling," probably in opposition to "celestial" beings. Greek ἂνθροπος (mycenaean *anthrokwos) means "low-eyed," again probably contrasting with a divine perspective.

I can at the most random moments find myself performing these self-reflection episodes. Where am I going with my life, what have I just done, Are my actions today positively reflecting upon the image I have of myself and that I wish others to perceive of me?

I find the history a-fore-mentioned above to be fascinating. What are your thoughts?

Apologies & Epicness

Sorry everyone for taking so long to post again. I've been trying to average at least two a day.

The reason for my slowness has been from a very good day!

Today was the college awards ceremony where I was recognised as a Chapter, District, and State SkillsUSA Officer, (Running for Nationals), Program Excellence, and a Character Award :D

Afterwards, I spent some time celebrating with family in attendance for the ceremony, and then good friends. My Resident Advisor (We'll call him Gerber) was cleaning out his freezer and massively bar-be-qued for all of us!

Afterwards we got the whole dorm to go Bike Riding out back of the college, and had a few Epic Moments (Attaching a few pics below)

NONE OF THIS WAS PLANNED
We found a can of Ether in some abandoned bigrig trucks and even two fourwheelers in the back of a Trailer. (Still debating on going back for the tires)
In a small town like this, any entertainment is golden XD

LIKE A BOSS

Again, I apologize for my lateness. Will try to post in the next couple of days, but asking for your patience as Friday & Saturday I'm attending multiple workshops for State Leadership Training.

Always appreciate everyone's support, and try to return the favor whenever possible.

Good Night to all!

Remember that time...

Ever have one of those conversations with close friends?

Remember that time we...

Hey, what about when...

Dude, we should have never...

These are usually reminiscings of the greatest moments in life you have shared with good friends.

I'm interested in hearing some of the stories my fellow bloggers have to tell. What are some of the greatest memories you all have had with your friends?

If this was me, I would remember it forever:
